Let’s Talk About Grants
Each grant requires different information
- City of Boston Business Certificate (Updated)
- Have the UEI number (Unique Entity Identifier)
- Valid Vendor ID
- 2022 tax returns
- Bank statement of the last 3 months
- Explanation of use of funds
- Provide a profit and loss statement for the last Fiscal or Calendar year
Possible conditions
- Have twenty-five or fewer employees
- Have been established before March 2020
- Have a business location in the City of Boston
- Be established for ten years
Formalization of Your Business
There are two places where you can register your business, with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the City of Boston:
- Commonwealth of Massachusetts – $500 a year LLC (Limited Liability Company) sole proprietorship S corporation
- City of Boston – $65 for a 4-year certificate Business certificate / Certificate of good standing
