December Economic Development Committee Meeting in Egleston Square

In November, Egleston Square Main Street kicked off and re-activated its Economic Development Committee. There was a lot of interest and new energy around creating more support and infrastructure for new and existing businesses. The next meeting of the committee is Monday, December 15, 6:30-8pm at our offices in the Egleston Square Y.

The Committee works to strengthen and grow the neighborhood’s business district in an equitable, inclusive and sustainable way. It will support existing business owners and entrepreneurs; attract new enterprises to the district; conduct research and collect data; collaborate on events and programs to promote local businesses; and respond to proposals for new development in Egleston Square.
