Urban Land Institute comes to the Washington Street corridor
Update!! The Boston Redevelopment Authority is moving forward with a planning process for the Washington Street Corridor. Their first public manifestation will be an Open House scheduled for July 28, 2015 : 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Brookside Health Center at 3297 Washington Street.

Fellows from The Urban Land Institute‘s Rose Center for Public Leadership came to Boston for 2 days to interview City officials and local stakeholders in order to make recommendations on what direction the City can take when thinking about a corridor planning process for the Washington Street corridor. The Fellows gave their recommendations today (4/02/2015) at Boston City Hall.
The Rose Center was established in 2008 with a grant from ULI Foundation Governor Daniel Rose to encourage and support excellence in land use decision making by local governments. The Rose Center seeks to foster creative, efficient, practical and sustainable land use policies by providing public officials with access to information, best practices, peer networks and other resources.
